Unique Harris Caprock Technologies
Out Of Band Management (OBM):
Enables Harris CapRock to remotely perform fault search and correction on the VSAT system when it is down for any reason. The OBM is based on a dedicated Iridium system supplied with the VSAT system.
Automatic Beam Switching (ABS)*:
Enables the VSAT system to switch between different satellite spot’s automatically and seamlessly without any intervention from either the onboard crew or Harris CapRock.
* Operational since 2007, some of our competitors came up with a similar but less proven solution this spring
